1990 Kawasaki ZR550 Zephyr
This is my 1990 Kawasaki ZR550 Zephyr. Her name is Daphne. She has a Supertrapp pipe, Factory Pro jet kit, K&N air filter, radial tires, Braking USA front rotors, Russell stainless brake lines, RaceTech front springs, a Sprocket Specialists -3 rear sprocket, aluminum handlebars from a Monster 750, Napoleon bar-end mirrors, and (sometimes) a National Cycle Street Shield. A custom one-off Corbin is on the way to soften the seating area. This bike is now the fastest, most comfortable do-anything bike I've ever ridden. In less than two years I've put on over 20,000 rock-solid relaible commuting miles, canyon carving, and even the occasional track day. I leave the Widder pigtail attached for when it gets cold; I have a System II vest with arm chaps as well as gloves, and have taken several-hundred mile rides on Daphne when it was well below freezing out. Once I even was passing cars in a snowstorm in upstate NY! Adam Wade
